An electronically temperature controlled soldering station for industry, hobbyist and student alike.

  • Electronic circuitry enables user to adjust soldering temperature between 250°C (500°F) and 450°C (850°F), without changing the soldering tip
  • Temperature is maintained within 5°C (9°F) of temperature selected
  • Zero voltage switching techniques help protect components from voltage spikes produced by heater element as it switches on and off to regulate the temperature
  • Soldering tip grounded through unit to ensure leakage of 0.4mV
  • Heating element made from highly insulative ceramic material, providing insulation in excess of 100MΩ
  • Fast heat-up time, almost instant temperature recovery
  • High-impact, heat-resistant polycarbonate case
  • Iron has comfortable rubber grip, burn-proof silicone rubber cable and is supplied fitted with a 0.8mm pointed tip, order code 85-0981
  • Station is supplied complete with iron stand, tip cleaning sponge, fitted 13A plug and full instructions
  • Replacement irons, heating elements and heating element holders are available separately
