A heavy-duty chalk reel for temporary marking of straight lines over long distances. With the string extended into position, it is simply pulled upward and released (‘twanged’) depositing the chalk dust on to the surface.

  • Patented ChalkView case allows you to see how much chalk is left
  • Durable die-cast aluminium case with stainless steel hook and crank handle
  • Quick gear release allows string to be pulled out without spinning the handle
  • Large aggressive hook design grabs on side, top or bottom
  • On-board hook storage
  • Handle locks into case to hold string in place
  • Carries over 40g (1.5oz) of chalk
  • Contains 30m of 27kg break force polyester/nylon string
  • Integral belt clip
  • Also available with 110g (4oz.) of blue chalk
  • Stanley types 5-47-480 and 5-47-482 (with blue chalk)
