USBcount50 50MHz Frequency/period counter

The USBcount50 is a PC based, isolated frequency/period counter that uses its small size, USB connectivity and high performance to give a unit that is flexible, easy to use and economical. The unit has been designed to allow the measurement of a broad range of frequencies and pulses. With a feature set normally associated with much larger and more expensive bench instruments it is an ideal instrument for use during the design and debugging of digital circuits and can be used to quickly verify generated frequencies, pulse widths and duty cycles. A feature of this unit, and with the other units in the Elan USB range, is the ability to be stacked together. This facility means that, for example, two USBcount50 units may be stacked together to create a synchronised, dual channel frequency counter. Furthermore it is possible to stack together differing types of test equipment so that any combination of test requirements, e.g. a synchronised function generator and frequency counter, is achieva
