The Paradime USB 3D Printing Pen is the frontrunner of the next generation of 3D printing pens. It offers excellent reliability, an OLED temperature display screen, greater filament compatibility and has a unique anti-stringing feature that retracts the filament when you stop drawing.

As well as single-button presets for ABS and PLA filament, the temperature of the Paradime 3D Printing Pen can be adjusted in 1 degree steps for maximum flexibility and compatibility with other materials. It uses any 1.75mm filament – either pre-cut lengths or used straight from the same spool you would use in a desktop 3D printer.

A. Hi David, thanks for your question. The following filaments are suitable for use with the Paradime pen: PLA and ABS.

Q. Really struggling to get PLA to work properly in this pen without blocking. ABS is absolutely fine. Are more colours of ABS available in 1.75?

A. Hi Joan, thank you for your question. The Paradime 3D Pen only accepts 1.75mm filament.

Reliable and easy to control

I bought this for my son for an art project and it worked really well. The display shows you the temperature rising, so you know when the filament is at melting point. The slider allows you to vary the output speed (faster for a bigger area, slower for intricate work). When you have finished, you reverse the feed and the filament slides out cleanly. It's fun to use and produces good results.

The children can use this pen really well as it is lightweight and thin, ideal for their hand size. I love the fact it is USB powered so it can be used anywhere in the room from a laptop or power bank, as well as the mains plug. Hope to buy some more when my new budget starts!
