The Flir i5 Infrared Thermal Camera is unparalleled in terms of size, weight and affordability. It is a powerful maintenance tool, allowing the detection of impending equipment failure by identifying the increasing heat often generated by in the period preceding a malfunction.

This infrared camera is also an excellent building inspection instrument allowing you to quickly scan and identify problems across large areas. Its use can help avoid cost intensive failures, equipment damage and energy spill. It can also used for repair verification and insurance purposes.

The Flir i5 Infrared Thermal Camera requires no formal training or former experience to use, and really is a matter of “point-shoot-detect” allowing you to obtain high quality infrared images that will immediately provide you with all the information you need.

Its high level of sensitivity allows it to detect and measure temperature differences across entire surfaces and with a weight of just 340g, and 22cm in length it is compact and highly portable.

The FLIR i5 produces instant, point-and-shoot JPEG infrared imagery, that carries all required temperature data and that can be stored internally or externally, sent and analyzed.

The FLIR i5 measures temperatures up to +250°C and detects temperature differences as small as 0.10°C, displayed on the camera's bright 2.8 inch LCD display. Its temperature measurement range suits most applications in electrical, mechanical, and building environments. A long-life battery ensures up to 5 hours of continuous operation.

The FLIR i5 comes with the FLIR QuickReport software for image analysis and easy creation of reports in PDF format, a 512 Mbyte mini SD Card, a Li-Ion rechargeable battery with charger, USB cable, hand strap, and manuals and user CDs available in 21 languages.
