The Siretta Echo 18 is a WiFi / WLAN dedicated PCB antenna that achieves impressive levels of performance, due to fine tuning between 2.4 and 2.5GHz. Being tuned to this frequency band means the Echo 18 antenna can be used with WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee and ISM based applications. Its miniature footprint size of only 37 x 6mm makes this Siretta's smallest embedded WiFi antenna. It is therefore perfect for applications where internal space for components is extremely limited or when using an external antenna is simply not appropriate. Its miniature design allows this antenna to be easily fixed to the inside of an enclosure or directly onto a PCB.
Common applications for the Echo 18 include: waterproof / water-tight designs, low power Zigbee, portable WiFi solutions and general 2.4GHz applications that require a compact unit. The Echo 18 is a WiFi tuned antenna, designed to resonate at a high level between 2.4 and 2.5GHz and achieves a peak gain of 2.6dBi. The Echo 18 is therefore suitable for a host of wireless M2M applications that require a space conscious embedded antenna solution.
