A range of high quality toroidal transformers.

Twin secondary and primary windings of 0-115V and 0-115V to cater for 115V or 230V 50/60Hz AC inputs
Low profile construction
Weight saving compared to the conventional laminated transformer

All leads are double insulated flexible lead wire with stripped wire ends
No air gaps in the core
No vibrating laminations

Supplied complete with all hardware for direct assembly to PCB or chassis
Hardware comprises a metal dished washer, two rubber protection pads and a single bolt/washer/nut for easy single hole fixing
Protection pads should be fitted to the underside and top of the transformer with the dished washer on top of the upper pad. The bolt should be tightened firmly, without over tightening as this may cause damage to the windings and ultimately shorting of transformer turns
All transformer windings are manufactured in accordance with IEC65, UL 506, UL 1411 and UL 478 and are CE marked and bear the UL logo with recognition to UL 4787

Important: Under no circumstances should both ends of the fixing bolt be allowed to come simultaneously into contact with the metal chassis so that an electrical path is formed through the bolt in the centre of the transformer via the external chassis. This would result in a direct short and cause considerable damage. A clearance of 4mm must be allowed over the mounting hardware.
