The SG3525AN from ST is a regulating pulse width modulator that has been designed to offer improved performance and lower external parts count when being used in the design of all types of switching power supplies. The on-chip reference is trimmed to ±1% and the input common-mode range of the error amplifier includes the reference voltage, eliminating the need for external resistors. A sync input to the oscillator allows multiple devices to be slaved together or a single unit to be synced to an external system clock.
