A universal PIC Programmer that is designed to allow low-cost development programming of the Microchip PICmicro family of microcontrollers (including the popular PIC16F84A and PIC16F872 devices). The programmer supports all 8, 18 and 28 pin PICmicro 12C, 12F, 16C, 16F (note: not 18F series) family microcontrollers (excluding the 16c5x family).

Fitted with a Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) socket to allow easy loading and removal of ICs
Easy-to-use Windows software allows a program to be developed in BASIC or assembler code
Software includes a free BASIC to Assembler compiler, so that assembler code programming can be learnt by disassembly of BASIC programs.
Supplied with serial cable

Requires a 9V power supply – please see order code 85-2901 in the Power supplies section

The programmer is designed to allow low–cost development programming of the Microchip PICmicro family of microcontrollers (including the popular PIC16F84 and PIC16F873 devices).
