A range of solid state MOXIE thermal sensors which comprise an NTC thermistor with a highly specific transition region. When the sensor is heated the normally high resistance falls rapidly once the transition temperature has been reached (from about 100kΩ to 100Ω for a 10°C change in temperature). On cooling the device reverts back to the original high resistance with little hysteresis.

  • Housed in a TO-18 package which is available in either vertical or horizontal tab mounting
  • The devices are extremely sensitive
  • High levels of reliability
