The L298N from ST is an integrated, monolithic circuit which is a high voltage, high current, dual full bridge driver.

Designed to accept standard TTL logic levels, and drive inductive loads such as relays, solenoids, DC and stepping motors
Two enable inputs are provided to enable or disable the device independently of the input signal
Supplied in a 15-lead Multiwatt package

Q. Hi there, could you reccomend a heat sink for this product, I know theres a ton of math but to be honest I just want a high performance heatsink, there will be plenty of airflow over this.

A. Hi Colin. Thank you for your question. We would recommend 36-0534 - this product offers the highest thermal resistance but others are available.
