RS232 Keypad interface

This encoder provides an interface between keypads and host systems. Converting the matrix output from keypads, the encoder sends RS232 output to a host system, via the 6-pin (2.54mm pitch) connector. The encoder board can be mounted directly onto Storm 12 and 16-way keypads, as well as mounting on and being able to drive Storm's integrated keypad/display unit (Alphanumeric data can be sent from the keypad to the display via the encoder, additionally, data can be sent from a host system to the display via the encoder).
