This range of supertwist, LED backlit alphanumeric LCDs is supplied with either a standard parallel interface or ready fitted with an Eze-Use serial interface daughter board.

  • The parallel interface is the industry standard 4 or 8-bit parallel interface using the HD44780 and HD44100 driver chip protocols
  • The serial interface units offer an easy 3-pin connection to your application- +5VDC, ground and data
  • LCDs fitted with a serial interface may be driven directly from a standard PC comms port
  • LCD characters are black on a green background
  • Supplied with full data sheet detailing command set and user information
  • A standard front panel bezel in black is available to suit the above LCDs
  • Each kit includes bezel surround, clear polycarbonate window and fixing hardware
  • The PC interface cable enables connection between a serial LCD and PC
