These devices are miniaturised receivers for infrared remote control systems. A PIN diode and preamplifier are mounted on the lead frame and the epoxy package is utilised as an IR filter. The demodulated output signal can directly be decoded by a microprocessor. Designed for use in infrared PCM remote control systems these devices are available in two sizes and pin layouts.

  • 38kHz Carrier frequency
  • Supports all major transmission codes
  • Internal filter for PCM frequency
  • Improved shielding against electrical field disturbance
  • TTL and CMOS compatibility
  • Output active low
  • Low power consumption
  • High immunity against ambient light, power noise and electro magnetic interference
  • Suitable burst length =10 cycles/burst
