The PICAXE USB download cable has been designed to facilitate the downloading of PICAXE programs into PICAXE chips. The cable connects via the USB port on the computer to a 3.5mm jack for connection to the PICAXE. Moulded into the body of the USB connector is a circuit board that contains a USB to serial convertor chip that ensures that the data transfer is via a 5V logic level serial connection.

  • For use on computers without a serial port
  • High quality connectors with 1.8m cable
  • Can be used with any PICAXE chip or project board
  • Compatible with any software application that supports the programming of PICAXE chips.
  • Software drivers for the cable assembly are downloadable for free from www.picaxe.co.uk
  • Driver versions for Windows XP, XP (64-bit edition), 2003, 2000, ME and 98SE


    Note: There is no operating system support for Windows 95 or NT.
