The ICEPIC range of emulators, are fully modular real time in-circuit emulator (ICE) systems, for use with Microchip Technologys PIC series of microcontrollers. Designed by ex-Microchip personnel under contract from Microchip, the ICEPIC emulators are now the most popular in the world. Each system provides real time emulation and also shares the same IDE (Integrated Development Environment) with a comprehensive GUI under Microsoft Windows software (as above). Each system will operate under Microchips own MPLABoperating software and is compatible with most C compilers available (MPC, CCS, HiTech, IAR). The latest 16-bit (WIN 3.11) and 32-bit (WIN95 & WIN NT)versions of our software are always available as a free upgrade from RF Solutions web site: http://www.rfsolutions.co.uk. ICEPIC-Jnr-16 is a low cost Modular in circuit emulator system for the PIC16C6X, 7X, 8X & 9X microcontrollers. It provides the same functions and user software interface as standard ICEPIC system. ICEPIC-Jnr-16 is supplied as a Board level product requiring an interchangeable low cost personality daughter board and 6-9V power source. Full user instruction are supplied, along with target probe header cables and microchips MPASM assembler. The ICEPIC-Jnr-16 provides the lowest cost modular real time emulator running under MPLAB available today. The systems are supplied with a host PC RS232 cable, full supporting documentation and a copy of Microchips MPASM. An ever growing range of personality boards is available to cover the relevant range of PICs for your application.
