The AT25FS040N from Atmel is a high speed, small sectored, SPI Flash memory device that is optimised for use in a wide range of industrial and commercial applications, where there is a requirement for low power, low voltage operation. The memory is organised as 524,288 words of 8-bits each, to provide 4,194,304 bits of serial reprogrammable Flash memory.

  • SPI compatible
  • Supports SPI modes 0 and 3
  • Clock rate 50 MHz
  • Low voltage operation 2.7V to 3.6V
  • Hardware and software write protection
  • Self-timed program cycle
  • Single-cycle reprogramming
  • Endurance 10,000 program/erase cycles
  • High reliability
  • Operating temperature range –40°C to +85°C
  • SO-8 package
  • Other memory densities available on request
