Due to their design, construction and the materials used, these switches are capable of surviving the impact of a 5kg mass dropped from 400mm (20J). Additionally, the switches are panel sealed to IP67 and are manufactured from a non-sparking zinc alloy - making them ideal for use in potentially explosive environments.
