A high-µ, low current double triode valve housed in a standard miniature B9A envelope.
Available in three varieties: 47-4502 is a standard general purpose valve manufactured by Sovtek. 47-4004 is a large anode/plate version by Sovtek that features a spiral filament, making it ideal for audio applications. 47-4005, which is by Electro Harmonix, has a smaller anode and low microphony and is especially suitable for instrument amplification.
- Intended for amplifier applications such as phase splitter, cathode follower etc.
- Its low noise, hum and microphony, plus high gain make it particulary suited to low level audio applications
