Semikrons range of isolated MOSFET modules provide a ready-made, high power, high commutation switching solution in a compact, efficient package. These devices utilise several chip technologies, including trench gate MOSFET technology, to provide a range of choices of voltage and type for a number of applications. Features excellent thermal management and isolation via direct copper bonding, together with simple and fast mounting via a single screw (which provides even pressure distribution across the base plate). The compact design of the package, together with the circuit topologies available mean that these SEMITOP devices are a much more efficient solution (in terms of assembly, component count and thermal management) than separate conventional TO-220 MOSFETs. Ideal applications for these devices include switch mode power supplies, DC servo drives, uninterruptible power supplies and electric vehicles.
