A range of N-channel power MOSFETs in a new PowerPAK ChipFET surface mount package. This innovative package offers the same power dissipation as an SO-8 device but in a much smaller package (only 3 x 1.8 x 0.8mm) making the device footprint 81% smaller. Advanced thermal management has enabled higher power densities in a smaller device, allowing designers to easily replace larger power MOSFETs in a wide range of power applications. Featuring low ON-resistance these devices are suitable for use in a wide range of applications including point of load, synchronous rectification, logic level DC to DC conversion and load switches in such equipment as computer systems and notebook PCs, telecommunications equipment, portable electronic systems and other systems where space is at a premium.
