Compact, economically priced float switches in horizontal and vertical mounting styles.

  • Suitable for both high or low level sensing
  • The switching element is a sealed reed relay which is actuated via a float-mounted magnet, which moves in relation to the liquid level in the vessel
  • The horizontal switch is an external fitting type featuring rapid push fit installation and providing sealing up to 0.34 bar (5 psi)
  • Switch operation can be normally open or normall closed by simply rotating the sensor through 180°

Questions

Question by Julian | Product code: 61-1305

QWill this float sensor survive in Lead Acid Battery Electrolyte? To be able to measure the min max levels of electrolyte in 2v 1200ah Off Grid Power Batteries? (Hawker) Thanks, Julian
AThanks for your enquiry Julian. It would be suitable however we are unsure of how quickly the unit may break down due to damage from acid erosion. You may want to consider product code 61-1362 as it is designed for fuel and oil which are more damaging.
