This starter kit serves as an introduction to the AT89C51 range of microcontrollers. The main feature of this kit is a stand-alone board, with prototype area, that comes complete with a AT89C51ED2-SLSUM microcontroller. By using the kit hardware together with the Flexible In-system Programming (FLIP) software (downloadable from www.atmel.com) a complete programming and evaluation environment can be created.
