A warm white, surface mounting LED of the Chip-On-Board type and mounted onto a star-shaped Metal-Core Printed Circuit Board (MCPCB). The LED has a high luminous efficacy and the COB and MCPCB design means that thermal management is maximised. With 6W of high performance power this LED is suitable for a wide range of applications such as: electronic signs and signals, small area illumination, back lighting, security and outdoor lighting, beacon and signalling lighting.

Q. A student has bought this LED and we have attached a 9v battery to the positive terminal and negative to 0v. The LED still does not light up? Any reason why not? Thanks Mark

A. Hi Mark, thank you for your question. This requires a forward voltage of typically 19.2V to illuminate and 9V is not high enough, please see data sheet here.

A. Hi Simon. Thank you for your question. The most you could power from one of these drivers would be a single LED from the range you have mentioned.
