PICAXE-28X2 Versabot

The BOT110 Versabot from Revolution is the larger, more powerful big brother of the Microbot. Various input/output modules are connected to the PICAXE-28X2 based motherboard via the patented 'Microbric' system that requires only a screwdriver to use. This innovative system allows the robot to be reconfigured in many various different ways.

Supplied as a self-assembly kit of parts (PCBs are pre-soldered, all assembly is with a screwdriver).

The modules included with the Versabot include: Two powerful motors with full speed control via dedicated microcontrollers, large and small wheels and tyres, bump sensors, LEDs, sounders and infrared receivers.

Also available is the Versabot Line follower kit. This add-on will give line following capabilities, using a pre-programmed microcontroller to give a highly accurate and stable reading from the infrared sensor. The sensitivity of the line follower can also be calibrated.

The Infrared upgrade add-on pack allows control of the Versabot via a TV style remote control.
