The BOT130 Caterpillar bot from Revolution is an amazing robot that wriggles along just like a caterpillar. It uses eight servos to generate life-like movement and is controlled by a PICAXE-28X1 microcontroller.

The robot can wriggle over obstacles and two tilt sensors detect when the robot has fallen over - so it can then attempt to right itself.

The Infrared upgrade add-on pack allows control of the Caterpillar bot via a TV style remote control.



  • The pack is supplied as a self-assembly kit of parts
