This premium quality ultra-low noise mixing console, due to its optional battery power, is ideal for a range of applications where portability is required. Although having a small footprint the mixer is manufactured to the same standard as the larger-format mixing desks, even to being house in the same rugged steel chassis. Flexible input architecture means that not only is the mixer suitable for the more conventional applications such as for use by vocalists with backing tracks or by keyboardists wishing to manage multiple instruments, but also for live reportage and sportscasting where mains power is inaccessible.

This mixer has a total of 10 inputs with 2x mono mic channels and 4 stereo input channels, all mixing down via 2 mix buses. The unit comes with a host of features present on its bigger brothers such as: Xenyx mic preamps, phantom power and 60mm travel faders. 3-Band 'British' EQ ensures studio quality sound and there is an FX and montor send for every channel. The two Xenyx preamps have a 130dB dynamic range and a bandwidth that extends from 10Hz to 200kHz

The Xenyx 1002B comes complete with a mains power supply and is optionally powered by 9V PP3 type batteries - 2x for normal operation and 3x for phantom power.
