The U-Control UCA222 is an ultra-flexible audio interface unit that enables connection between musical instruments (keyboard/guitar/bass), mixer and computer for recording, playback or live performance. The unit works with both PC and Mac without any setup or drivers. The sound is high quality and the unit has a rugged design fo long life. A headphone output with its own dedicated volume control allows monitoring of both input and output and there is an additional digital optical output that is compatible with many modern effects units.

The UCA222 is supplied with a comprehensive bundle of software that such as energyXT2.5 which is a compact music production software included with feature-rich audio/MIDI sequencer that loads almost instantaneously on all computer platforms. Other software applications included with the unit are Audacity, Podifier, Juice, Podnova and Golden Ear. The combination of the UCA222 and the included software creates a low cost, high quality digital recording and performance facility.
