Questions

Question by Steve | Product code: 88-3346

QHi I have tested a couple of these transformers and with only a few mA load they are very warm to the touch. Is this normal ? Could you tell me what case temperature these transformers should run at full load and no load. I am concerned the higher than expected running temperature may reduce reliability. Thanks.
AThanks for your enquiry Steve. They should run fairly warm as they are running mains voltage, the manufacturer does not appear to have any running temperature ratings but they do seem to state tested to 70 deg so up to this I would expect to be fairly normal.
