Q. Is it weather proof? Is it suitable for outdoor use?

A. Hi Geoff, thank you for your question. Over long term the lock may rust if exposed to water often. In sea air conditions this will happen quicker. Regular lubrication with oil or WD40 will prevent this, and prolong its life.
