Behringer Ultra-DI Active DI Box DI100

The Behringer DI100 is an active DI box that is a professional and multipurpose unit designed to interface line level equipment (e.g. guitars, keyboards) with the microphone level input of a mixing desk. The unit performs level matching, balancing and, depending on the level of input, either buffering of an active signal or impedance matching of a passive signal. This unit comes in a rugged, road-proof aluminium case with stackable rubber corners.

The unit has both a balanced 1/4in TRS and a balanced XLR input to suit many active or passive input sources, including the ability to connect an instruments loudspeaker output into the input of the DI100, which can handle up to 3000W whilst still delivering a perfect signal. Output to the mixing desk/console is via a balanced XLR and there is also a 1/4in LINK jack allowing a duplicate output to be sent to, for example, an on-stage amplifier. Additionally the unit has a switchable attenuation pad that allows input levels up to +50dB and a ground lift switch which can eliminate ground loop associated noise.
