A 12V bi-directional 4-phase unipolar permanent magnet stepper motor. Applying the correct electrical pulse sequence to the windings of the motor results in a 1.8° step angle rotation of the spindle (200 steps per revolution).

  • Number of steps and speed are determined by frequency of input signal applied
  • Suitable for many control applications where a medium torque motor is required
  • 5mm shaft diameter

Questions

Question by

Qhow couid we achieve 1.8 degrees step angle with just 4 pulses.i studied that step angle=360/(no. of stator phases* no. of rotor teeth ). does this stepper motor has 50 or 25 rotor teeth,& what is the switching sequence used
AThanks for your enquiry. This unit actually has 6 wires but you could combine the 2 zero lines – leaving 4 possible input control lines. We are not familiar with actual stepper motor control so cannot provide that information and similarly we do not have the rotor teeth information available.
