The CTM-20LG is a precision optical light gate compatible with the CTM-20 stop clock. The case is a hi-grade ABS plastic with 2 robust extension poles, which house the light sensors with a 150mm gap. The light gate is powered by a single 9 volt battery and if the light beam is broken, it immediately generates a pulse to the stop clock. A connecting cable 2m long is available fitted with stackable 4mm plugs. This allows multiple connection of up to 4 light gates and/or the CTM-20FS foot switch. A combination of 2 light gates is ideal for reaction timing where by one would be used to start the timer and the second would stop the timer. Features include:

  • A single positive action ON/OFF switch
  • A green LED light to indicate power on
  • A red light that will flash to give a visual indication of the light beam being broken
  • Each instrument is supplied with comprehensive instructions for use


    Requires 1x PP3 9 volt alkaline battery (order code 18-0200 not included).
