Dont expect thumping volume or high levels of clarity - but a great little product for toys, and audible alerts. For my application, I needed it to trigger when power was applied (as opposed to when the play button is pressed). Id hoped that simply shorting out the play button would do this but that isnt the case - it obviously needs to see the play wires shorted after power up. So I simply wired a little reed relay across the power supply, and the normally open contacts across the play button. i.e. simulating the button being pressed a fraction of a second after the circuit powered up.
