The classic nesting site for small birds. Insect eating birds are a very valuable source of natural pest control; blackbirds and thrushes search out slugs and snails to eat; blue tits eat hundreds of caterpillars and green woodpeckers will eat ants in the grass of lawns.

Decline in woodland areas and older trees means there are fewer nesting sites
Over 60 species of birds use old trees for their nests
Putting up an artificial nest box will help future generations of birds and give pleasure from observing them
Box has a 25mm hole suitable for many birds including Marsh tits, Coal tits and Blue tits
Constructed from 100% FSC approved timber

Hang nest at least 1.5 metres high up to 5.5 metres off the ground
