This electrostimulation unit from Beurer contains 3 basic functions, which can be combined operated: The electric Stimulation of Nerves track (TENS), by muscle movement (EMS), causing a massage effect by electric signals.
The device has 4 independent stimulation canals and eight self adhesive-adhesive electrodes, offering various useful functions for increasing the general wellness, for relief from pain, getting physical fitness, relaxation, muscle revitalising and fight from fatigue. For that, you can either select from a pre-set programm or decide yourself on the basis of your requirement.
The active principle of electrostimulation device is based on the replica of body impulse, transferred by means of electrodes via skin to the nerves or muscles. The electrodes can thereby be placed at different body parts, whereby the electrical impulses are harmless and practically pain-free. The electrical impulses sent to the tissues influence the transmission of impulses in the nerves as well as neural nodes and muscle groups in the area of application. The effect of the electro-stimulation is detectable as per regular repetetitive application. Electrical stimulation at the muscle does not replace regular training, but usefully supplements its effect.
