A Ø6.0 x 150mm long K type thermocouple that has a flexible, mineral insulated probe protected by a 310 Stainless Steel sheath. The device has a plain pot seal and is terminated by 1m of 7/0.2mm PFA insulated flat pair cable. The thermocouple has a single element construction with the junction being insulated from the sheath to offer protection against spurious electrical signals. The highly flexible sheath means that the probe may be bent/formed as desired to suit many applications.
The construction and materials in this thermocouple probe make it suitable for use in brick and cement kilns, glass industry applications, heat treatment and annealing furnaces, power stations, flues, heat exchangers, etc.
- Probe temperature range -40°C to +1100°C
- Good corrosion and oxidisation resistance
- Insulated hot junction
- Colour coded in accordance with IEC 584
- Plain pot seal rated to 200°C
