A 4-core extension cable for Platinum Resistance Thermometers (PRT). A PTFE outer jacket encloses a silver plated copper braided screen which, in turn, surrounds 4-core PTFE insulated 7/0.2mm silver plated copper stranded wire, with twisted cores and mylar tape. The cable can be used for extending 2, 3 or 4-wire RTD configurations of Pt100, Pt130, Pt500 and Pt1000 PRTs.
