    Q. What is the length of the tube and also what is the end cap spec. For example T8, G5 etc
    A. Hi Chris. Thank you for your question. The tubes are 18 inches long and are T8 end fitting.

    Q. Are these lamps the same as those you would get in an insect fly killer? I intend to build my own LARGE SCALE lightbox (ambitious i know)
    A. Hi Wayne, you could use these tubes in a fly killer but they are intended primarily for our UV exposure box. Suitability for other applications is not guaranteed.

    Weve just replaced one of the tubes in ours. With the device apart this really is British engineering at its best.

    These are exceptionally precise, much more so than the budget PCB boxes which I have used. Print your double sided artwork onto two seperate bits of acetate, cut one bit shorter than the other, then align and tape together. Then your PCB goes inbetween the two. Its good for 8-mil traces, which are practically unheard of in a DIY environment. Exposure for the Mega Fotoboard 2 (the pro one) has been found to be 85-seconds. Warm up the lamps for 5-minutes beforehand. This is an exceptionally good (and British built) bit of kit. High price tag yes, but you get your moneys worth. 8-mil traces double sided!!
