B+B Sensors CON-SHSA3 0-100% rH 0 to +60°c Hygrosens Dew Point Sensor

This device is a resistive humidity sensor that is designed to be used as a dew point sensor. The resistive dew formation sensor detects the onset of condensation (dew point) and the exponentially rising resistive characteristics in the upper humidity region facilitate simple signal processing and stable switching behaviour on the dew formation threshold.

The size and design of the substrate enable an optimised thermal interface with mounting points to be able to sense surface humidity on cooled surfaces. Typical applications for these sensors include building instrumentation, cool ceiling controller, air conditioning, moisture protection in switchgear and other electrical equipment, condensate detection in external and outside directed walls, leakage monitor for waterproof housings, etc.
